From iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad

    1. Open the settings app
    2. Tap your name
    3. Tap subscriptions
    4. Tap the subscription you want to manage
    5. Tap cancel subscription

 From Mac

    1. Open the App Store App
    2. Click the sign-in button or your name at the bottom of the sidebar
    3. Click view information at the top of the window (You may be prompted to sign in)
    4. On the page that appears, scroll until you see subscriptions, then click manage
    5. Click edit next to the subscription you’re looking for
    6. Click cancel subscription

If you cancel your AppleCare within your first 30 days of service, you will receive a full refund minus the value of any service already provided.

If you cancel your AppleCare plan more than 30 days after your purchase, you’ll receive a refund based on the percentage of unexpired AppleCare plan coverage minus the value of any service already provided. 

    1. On the T-Mobile website, log in to your account
    2. At the top of the page click the Plan link
    3. On the Plans and Services page, click Change Services
    4. Scroll down to the Premium Handset Protection
    5. Uncheck the box for JUMP
    6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select ‘Next’
    7. You’ll be prompted to review the changes you’ve made, check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click ‘submit changes’ to confirm your cancellation

You can cancel coverage at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling customer service or visiting www.my.t-mobile.com and receive a refund and/or credit, if any, of the applicable premium within the time frame required by law Receive a refund and/or credit, if any, of the applicable premium within the time frame required by law.

    1. On the AT&T website, log in to your account and go to the My Wireless page
    2. Select the device with the protection plan under My Devices & Features
    3. Click on Manage Device & Features and expand AT&T Mobile Protection Pack by clicking on the See Features button
    4. Click Remove at the bottom of the AT&T Mobile Protection Pack
    5. Click on the Continue button to confirm plan cancellation 

You may cancel your optional insurance coverage at any time and receive a refund of your unearned premium/monthly chargesAny unearned premium/charges will be refunded to you 

    1. On the Sprint website, click on the My Sprint at the top of the page
    2. Click add/remove services
    3. Log in to your account
    4. Select the lines you want to remove from the protection plan from
    5. Scroll to service add-ons and click remove
    6. On the Service Add-ons page, scroll to Service add-ons you already have
    7. Click on remove next to Device Protection: Total Equipment Protection
    8. Select yes, remove on the pop-up that asks you if you really want to remove this service
    9. Click save at the bottom of the page to confirm your cancellation

You may cancel your optional coverage at any time and receive a prorated refund/credit 

    1. On the Verizon website log in to your account
    2. Go to the My Plan & Services Tab, then Manage Products and Apps, then click manage your products
    3. Scroll to Total Mobile Protection and click the remove from account button in the upper right corner of the tab
    4. Click decline equipment protection to confirm your cancellation

You can remove Total Mobile Protection from your line at any time from the Add-ons and apps page on Verizon.com or within the Verizon app. Upon cancelling you’ll receive a prorated refund of your monthly fee.

Your TechProtect Coverage begins immediately, but keep in mind there is a 30 day waiting period before you can file a claim.

  • TechProtect is a comprehensive electronics protection plan that covers all of the most popular electronic devices: phones, tablets, laptops, computers, TVs, and gaming consoles from accidental damage.

All members of your immediate household. Dependent children that reside out of the household are covered while actively enrolled in a full time educational program.

Your plan’s effective date is the date you enroll, but there is a 30-day waiting period required prior to submitting a claim.

  1. Select your plan above and complete your registration on our secure checkout portal.
  2. Within 30 days after enrolling in the program, you will receive a “Welcome to TechProtect” email with your certificate of insurance attached.
  3. The welcome email will provide instructions and a link to the TechProtect Service portal.

  • Devices less than three years old are valued at replacement cost.
  • Devices older than 3 years are valued at actual cash value.
  • Yes, however damage due to power surge outside of the United States is not covered.
  • It is the maximum amount you will pay out of pocket for a covered claim.
  • It is the maximum amount we will pay for each covered claim per device per occurrence.
  • It is the maximum amount we will pay for all covered events during a one-year period.
  1. Simply log into your account on the TechProtect service portal or call 888-557-2501.
  2. Select File a Claim. Complete the claim form and attach pictures of the damaged product and any required documentation (if applicable).
  3. Submit the claim to us electronically through the service portal or via email.
  4. You will receive an acknowledgement email that your claim has been received.
  5. We will review your claim form and submitted documentation. If any information is incomplete or additional information is required, you will receive a request for additional information by email from us in 1-2 business days.
  6. Once we review the information surrounding your claim, we will issue you either a Service Authorization or a claim denial.
    1. In the case of a claim denial, we will explain exactly why the claim has been denied according to the certificate of insurance coverage and/or exclusions as well as sending you a denial letter via email.
    2. In the case your claim is approved, you will receive a Service Authorization.
  7. The Service Authorization will specify a pre-approved dollar limit that will entitle you to repair the product locally should the repair cost be equal to or less than the preapproved limit.
  8. Once your product is repaired, you will submit a copy of your repair invoice for final claim approval and reimbursement by us.
  9. You will receive your reimbursement, less any applicable deductible, within 10 business days of final claim approval.
    1. Should the repair exceed the Service Authorization limit we will require you to obtain a repair estimate from your local repair company, which must be submitted to us for consideration.
    2. We will evaluate and determine if the product should be repaired or we may elect to pay you a cash settlement (less any applicable deductible) in lieu of repair.
      1. If we determine the product can be repaired, we will issue you a Service Authorization for the appropriate amount. Once your product is repaired, you will submit a copy of your repair invoice for final claim approval and reimbursement by us.
      2. If we offer a cash settlement in lieu of repair, you will receive your reimbursement less any applicable deductible within 10 business days of final claim settlement.

You have 2 repair options available to you:

    • You may choose to find a local repair company that is convenient for you.
    • To ensure fast repair of your mobile electronics and computer products, we offer you the option to have the unit repaired locally at a repair company of your choice once you receive authorization.

    • TechProtect will find a local repair company for you.
    • If you cannot locate a local repair company or prefer not to find one yourself, we will assist you in obtaining service or locating a provider. Please call 888-557-2501 if you wish initiate this process.
  • For other electronic products such as televisions, we may refer you to one of the authorized providers in our network for carry in mail in or onsite service. Please call 888-557-2501 if you wish initiate this process.

  2. You will receive written confirmation of your cancellation indicating the date that your coverage will end.
  • You will automatically receive an email requesting updated credit card information. No claims can be processed until payment is received.
  • You will have 5 days prior to the billing period/end of the month to update your information to ensure no lapse in coverage.
  • Failure to pay the required premium will result in cancellation of your TechProtect plan.

  • Yes, there is a monthly credit card processing fee of $2.25.
